Prior to establishing Park Wagyu Cattle, our founder Jason Park graduated from what is considered one of the toughest leadership training courses in the world, The United States Army Ranger School. As a Staff Sergeant, he served as a Squad Leader in the U.S. Army's elite First Ranger Battalion. During this time, he displayed his leadership qualities by leading his squad on hundreds of special operations missions across eight combat deployments, where he earned several medals for his valor and leadership during combat operations throughout Iraq and Afghanistan.
After he separated from the military, he managed the security of the US Ambassador at the embassy in Afghanistan while he conducted diplomatic missions. After the fall of Afghanistan, he was moved to Iraq where he was a member of the Ambassador's Advance Security Detail.
As the founder of Park Wagyu, Jason wanted to continue to serve his community by providing some of the highest quality Wagyu Beef on the market. He has accomplished this goal through the dedication of both Jason and his wife Alexandra and the help of their children. The entire family works together to ethically and humanely raise and care for the cattle along with being good stewards of the 40 acres their farm resides on.
