Johnnie Raber started growing produce on his farm in Odon, Indiana in 2008. At the time, the Raber family also owned and operated a family business. They found that they so enjoyed working with the soil, so in 2011, they sold their business and started farming full time.  

Johnnie started out by selling his produce wholesale, but after putting up several greenhouses, they needed to get better prices for their quality products in order to make a living. Being at the market gives their children one day off of the farm each week as well as the opportunity to meet their customers! Their goal is to have the highest quality produce at a fair price, also realizing that they must make a profit. They want to be large enough to meet your produce needs but small enough to know you.  

Some of the products that Johnnie Raber brings to our market are: tomatoes, bell peppers, eggplant, onions, garlic, zucchini, cucumbers, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, squash (many varieties), watermelon, several varieties of berries, spinach, brown eggs, spring flowers, mums and fall decorations.

Saturday mornings find the Raber family up at 2:30 AM in order to get produce loaded so they can be set up at the market by 8 AM.

Having customers return to their booth saying that they bought the best produce from them the previous week truly makes their day worthwhile. They intend to grow and sell the healthiest, tastiest and freshest produce that money can buy all year long!
