Parallel parking is out and Free Garage Parking is in!
It’s hard to believe, but yes there’s free garage parking and plenty of it at the market. At our new location we have a 600+ parking garage. Our parking is located just south of the marketon 3rd Ave. SW. Look for the tent sign on 3rd Ave., it’ll direct you to convenient parking.
Once inside the garage you’ll find plenty of spots. Don’t be afraid to head on to the top of the garage. You’ll find the best spots and closer to the elevator. Yes, we have an elevator. You’ll find the elevator on the north side of the parking garage. It will bring you to the entrance of the market. Just a few steps more and there’s all the shopping you’ll need for an entire week.
We’ve also increased our handicap parking too. You’ll find these spots located closer to our elevator and a few spots out on 3rd Ave. SW. We’ve taken these steps to make easier access to our market.

Lights Camera Action!
As the Carmel Farmers Market was getting set to open for it’s debut in it’s new space, the Carmel Farmers Market Volunteers were going through their lists and checking everything before opening day. Had all the issues been addressed; were we missing anything important; would the visitors find our new location? All these questions were going through everyone’s mind prior to the opening.
As the curtain raised for the opening day and the dinner bell declared the market open, everyone one was in their places; vendors were showing off their products; visitors were arriving and the volunteers were dressed in their bright yellow shirts. As they say in the movies, it was time for action and start the show.
We’re looking forward to bringing you more information on the market as we settle into our new space. Including our new website/information portal that will include updates on youtube, twitter and Facebook, please don’t forget to join our Facebook page CarmelFarmersMarket. In the coming weeks you’ll see our information grow providing more details on upcoming events along with highlighting each of our vendors.
If you see one of us walking around in our bright yellow shirts, stop and say hello. We’re always interested in hearing your feedback. It’s our intent to make this one of the best markets in the area. You might even appear in one of our videos. There are several of us carrying around our flip videos looking to capture the right moment to pop on our website.
Till next time….

Toto we’re not in Kansas anymore
If you haven’t heard the news, the Carmel Farmers Market is not at City Hall either. Dorothy and Toto would be lost too if they hadn’t heard the news. Luckily, it’s a lot easier to find the new market location.
While it was sad to say good bye to our location that has been known to our guests for many years, we’re excited to open this season in our new location. You’ll find us just south of the Palladium and a step off the Monon.
There’s plenty of parking for anyone visiting the market. If you were frustrated with trying to find a parking space, rest assured our new parking garage will make shopping that much easier. The garage offers 600+ spots for those looking to take advantage of the market on a weekly basis. We’ve even increased the amount of handicap parking. You’ll find parking about a 1/2 block south of the market on the east side of Third Ave. SW.
Moving to the new location has allowed us to almost double our vendors. There’s lots of new vendors to try and your favorites are back this year again. Check out the Vendor tab on the website to view the location for your favorite and new vendors.
We’re looking forward to seeing all of you again at the Carmel Farmers Market on the Green.
